Appearance:
The Frog people are a race of large frogs. Their physical appearance is similar to that of little more than an overgrown tree frog, or any other type of frog. Their colours and patterns are genetically inherited from their parents; no two frogs have the same colours and pattern.
They are incapable of true ‘speech’ and instead communicate with clicks and rasping sounds. In fact, the name they give themselves is not “Frog People” but two clicks followed by a rasping sound.
History:
The Frog People have lived in the Dead Marshes for as long as any of them can remember with little interaction with the outside world. They are perfectly peaceful creatures, welcoming lost people into their homes and helping them find their way or recover. However kind they may be, they have always been limited by their total lack of communication skills.
There is little to the Frog People aside from the hostility they show toward Hydromancers. Just why they show such hatred is unknown, but the first whiff of a Hydromancer angers them and they begin mercilessly hurling people out of their homes, muttering in their own language profusely.
Way of Life:
The Frog People even eat insects like general frogs. They live in the marshes where such creatures are plentiful, and spend their entire day sitting in on their house waiting for an insect. When they aren’t doing this, they are inside their house sleeping. The only weather conditions that repels them into their house before they are tired is snow, which is incredibly rare in the Dead Marshes. They have highly irregular sleeping patterns, sometimes staying up for three days on end before sleeping and sometimes sleeping for three days before waking.
Faith:
Frog People have no apparent faith, it is only known that they follow all commands of the largest frog. All other aspects of their culture, if they have any, are shrouded in mystery due to the language barrier and lack of activity within their race.
Places of Importance:
(This should be used only as a brief decription of the areas that this race inhabit. The places are described in more depth in the Catagory named 'The Land'.)
The Dead Marsh
This is the only place known to have the Frog People present. They have no known fixed place of residence, but seem to migrate at will throughout the marsh.
