I've adopted your custom-made name for the Anja. I quite like it... Anjan seems to suit it. I'm also going to be making an Anjan language sometime today, it'll only be bits and pieces due to them adopting the Human language due to exposure. A few key phrases and chants will be available though. I do hope you'll appreciate the effort I'm gonna put into it

*laughs* I think I might have been a strong influence for that adoption...my bad. Go Val, working hard on his favorite race! Like it took much pressure for you to do that.

Meh, I'm bored!
It's not gonna be a crummy short one either, there will be about 100 words or so, maybe less.
Anja will be epic! They are my babies!

Sounds like you have a plan. I will be looking forward to trying out some of your phrases. You could also just translate a few sayings into English.
Such as: "You have funneled the wind toward your direction."

*does the Mr. Burns finger-thing* Excellent.
I'm starting to agree with you, Anjan are very wonderful characters. I'm glad you're putting time into them. They have a lot of room for development. You picked an excellent baby race.

I'm quite pleased with them, though I must say I am disappointed with Troglodytes. Nevermind, they had little potential being money-driven cave dwellers. Ogres I also did poorly on, but I am improving them wildly, come 1349 they will be fantastic. Shrenk humans I also think I did a good job with though Stronghelm's... Not so great

Well, you find that characters do best when they have strife and odds against them. If they are at peace, like in the Stronghelm lands in the western land mass, they aren't as lively.
Maybe if you were to create some type of problem in the western land mass it would gain a little more interest... But that is just an outsiders view, talk about it with Engel, see what she has to say.

It seems that Ogre's are going to have a jump in the character pool pretty soon...Hope that they are ready for it.

If ogres remained dimwitted as they were and still moved into the forest, I'd be happy. Zachariah: "No. No you wouldn't. Because I wouldn't be happy, and I created you."

Well, being a little on the dim side isn't bad, it actually creates for a nice little basic needs theme. It's just that in the desert, amongst other Ogres our characters couldn't face new problems. It would be ridiculous to say an invading force was going to go destroy them, because what idiots would travel through the desert...oh yeah, Ogres..
Their main basic thoughts are these, and these could really make for problems outside of their habitat...: They know that they need shelter. They know they need food. They know that they cannot survive during the day. They know that family is important. They know not to question the boss.
Now the first two aren't hard to solve. There are caves in the forests, and they eat practically anything. But having the characters learn that day is a good thing in the forest would be interesting, and if done correctly hilarious. Having characters worry about their families, if they were left behind, or brought along would help with development. No one messes with the boss, but if they aren't happy with how the boss won't let them, the scared beasts in a new environment, go home. They might get upset.
