How You Heard About Us: crazy_is_normal on Neopets
Previous Roleplaying Experience: Oh dear…I’ve been roleplaying for a number of years. I think the first time was when I was twelve. Don’t hold me to that. I have roleplayed on Neopets more times than I can count, Subeta, the World of Warcraft boards and various forums.
Roleplay Example:
I’ll just show you the introduction I was posting when crazy_is_normal found me.
“Stay quiet now…” Blood dripped from the ornate handle which protruded from plump flesh its blade had been dug into. “We wouldn’t want to cause a scene my love.”
A soft gurgling noise escaped the pale lips of her husband as he slowly sank to the floor. His hands wrapped tightly about Faelynada’s slender wrist. She hadn’t expected it to take this long for him to die, and she couldn’t reverse what she had done. Slowly his breathing ceased and his grip loosened.
She let go of the blade. It didn’t belong to her, and she wanted no more of its cool metal. In the dark she gathered her things. Her pale blonde hair tasseled from a long night and the struggle she had just endured. Her frail body shook, whether it was from the cold or from what she had just done, she had no clue. Prince Kael’thas would be overjoyed. She had done exactly what he had instructed her to do so.
Her acid green eyes peered into the dark, racing to find anything she had missed. Her breathing was heavy as she ran a finger over her elongated ear, feeling the three tiny jewels nestled into the lobe.
A pool of blood had settled around her husband. She didn’t even dare remove the ring which fit snuggly around his chubby finger. She could barely bring herself to touch him when he was alive. The Dwarves would not be happy to find one of their most powerful slain by his bride.
Words slipped quietly from Faelynada’s mouth causing the air to thrum around her. A light surrounded her hands and when she had finished her chant, she vanished.
It was only a matter of seconds before she was in a familiar place: Silvermoon.
“You have returned to us!” Muscular arms embraced her, burying her face into the folds of a heavy silk robe. When she was released, Faelynada peered upon the face of her longtime friend, Lor'themar Theron. His words still echoed through the empty hall. Outside she could see the night sky, cloudless and speckled with tiny stars.
“Yes,” she breathed. Her hands grasping his shoulders as she relished the touch of another Blood Elf.
“Has it been done?” His eyes twinkled with curiosity. Faelynada nodded. Another embrace followed, this time quick and rough. “Good! Let us make haste to the throne room. The Horde leaders have gathered there. They will be overjoyed at the news you bring.”
She cast a glance downward toward her bloody clothes. “Ah, yes. We must get you cleaned up first,” Lor’themar sighed heavily even as a smile spread across his lips. Without hesitation he slipped behind the heavy curtain and she followed. The Horde Lords and Ladies could wait for a few moments longer.
