Here are the expected lines within which it is expected all roleplaying posts are within.
1. We encourage members to experiment and make a variety of characters in order to fully explore Archidet. We do however request that a maximum of two characters join any single roleplay. It can get confusing if people post too many characters. You are allowed non-sentient companions, steeds and pets as you like though (within reason).
2. An introduction to a new Open RP is to be, by standard, roughly 3 paragraphs long at the least. A character introduction at least two paragraphs, and any posts thereafter must be at the most minor one paragraph.
3. You will post when you have something to post about. If you cannot fill 1-2 paragraphs, then wait for something else to happen before you post.
4. Use description. If a post has too little description and too much dialogue it won't be up to scratch, and will likely grind the roleplay into the ground.
5. Godding and Powerplaying in all forms is strictly prohibited. All forms of contact are to be attempted and allowed by the acted upon. Any attempts to bypass will be forcefully editted to within reason.
6. You are not all powerful. Names that have been listed in the topics labelled 'People of Importance' cannot be roleplayed by members unless an admin has specifically given permission to the individual.
7. The Dark Lord Razgriz is our official In Character moderator. He is the most powerful sorceror in the whole of Archidet. If you claim to be more powerful than him, or decide to use your magic to make yourself invincible... he will come down and smite you. His magic cannot be matched or withstood.
8. NO OOC posts in Roleplaying boards. All OOC posts or questions are to be delivered in PMs or in the General / Random board. OOC posts in roleplaying boards disrupts the flow of the roleplay.
Stray from them at your peril!!
