As you may or may not know, Archidet is a joint effort between myself and Engelbert. We did indeed discuss every little feature of its entirity to come to a world we both liked and saw fit for release unto the great world of the internet, but we each have our little details.
For instance, magic was entirely my domain. I designed it from the ground up around psychokinetic theory, since I'm a wikiphile. I do indeed read up on some really strange things... Psychokinetic theory, Black Hole theory, Strange Matter theory... Lots of theories, really. Also lots of things like swords, I know a lot about swords and swordsmanship, but very little about armour.
Now then, who did what...
Rules - Joint effort, we both wrote the rules. Though the idea for an in-character administrator ala Razgriz was Engelbert's idea.
Auditions were also Engelbert's idea, as I did not roleplay on sites like this or NeoPets where many of you are no doubt from. I come from the WoW roleplaying boards, where auditions are obviously not plausible.
Humans are primarily my domain, but they are also a joint effort. They're a weird middleground between us.
Anja are mine, I designed them from the ground up. No, I didn't base them off 'Warrior cats' and only learnt of their existence when Engelbert pointed out the similarities. Interesting, and fortuitous as it gets us a greater variety of roleplayers.
Elves are Engelbert's domain. I don't like Elves, I think they're too commonplace and standard for fantasy settings. But our Elves are neither immortal or powerful, they got their asses handed to them by harpies. I honestly can't remember which of us came up with that part...
Troglodytes are my domain, sadly. I don't really like them, but they're necessary for the Anja plotline of being hunted for their fur for sale.
Ogres are mine too, I love them. I think the stupider races and characters are better as they're more original and broken away from the norm.
Harpies are Engelbert's domain, which is only natural since the Elves and Harpies are interconnected down to the core. To have each control one would make it awkward to advance their plotlines.
Dragons are Engelbert's too, I don't like those either. I just... Don't like Dragons. I think Dragons should be beasts that don't talk, but there are a lot of people who roleplay dragons as sentient and we are aiming to please as many styles as possible.
Marsh Zombies are mine, they're based on Manoeva, a creature none of you have ever heard of and will likely never know about either. But there you go, that's life... There are in-crowds.
Frog People are mine, but unlikely to be advanced as they are honestly only put in to have 10 races. It's a nice number, so sue me.
Centaur are Engelbert's too, guess why? I don't like Centaur.
Magic is all mine. All mine. All magic is mine. I control magic. It is psychokinetics. It is mine.
Weaponry and armour is joint, but for inquiries about what your character can afford in terms of armour and weaponry etc. send me the tell as I'm the sword guru.
The historical timeline was obviously joint as it encompasses everything.
Calendar was designed by Engelbert, however much she refuses to acknowledge that she did design it and I only stopped her naming the months stupidly. Like the month of Raspberries.
The land... I'm not going into each and every area in the land, but generally the Eastern Land Mass is mine, Northern Land Mass is Engelbert's, Western Land Mass is joint. I made the map though, Engelbert wrote the trade lines.
The layout was pretty much entirely done by Engelbert. I have very little HTML knowledge. I made the little title-bars at the top of all the topics, but Engelbert wrote the HTML to have them there. I wrote the fading news ticker though.
But yeah, now you know who to send messages to about certain things. You might notice that most of the stuff I don't control is stuff I don't actually like, this is because I am lazy. Had it not been for Engelbert's constant pestering to finish my parts of the lore, we'd likely have never opened it.
Essentially, this place could not exist without both of us, so don't assume one did more than the other.
