How You Heard About Us: I received a neomail.
Previous Roleplaying Experience: I have been roleplaying for several years on neopets, both on the boards and over neomail. I have experience with a few forums, but not many.
Roleplay Example: The bazaar buzzed with activity suddenly, the sun had set long ago and the night was silent everywhere else. Torches were lit and the strange stalls could only be outdone by the performers littering the dirt roadways.
There were men juggling daggers or torches, women dancing with snakes entwined around their limbs and necks, various acrobatic stunts taking place atop the vacant buildings and bustling stalls, yet all of this seemed to pale in comparison to what drew the largest crowd. Amid all this chaotic entertainment, in the midst of the insanity there was only one thing everyone truly came back for.
The freak show, or as they called it at least. If what was around the dirty little caravan which visited the bazaar every week couldn't be considered strange then what it brought with it certainly wasn't. The figures were tied down if not locked up so they didn't lash out at those who ridiculed them, though they couldn't do much damage to the customers anyway.
What were these creatures? These creatures were humans mainly, children more often than adults. For the bazaar's customers, merchants and performers weren't humans, but demons.
One would not notice at first, but upon closer inspection the women who danced with the snakes were covered in smooth scales, and the acrobats having pointed ears or claws and some even with more animal features. And if one looked closely at the jugglers' foreheads, they would see a third eye.
The demon's freak show contained a variety of humans who were all united only by their common fear. Many of them, even those only a few years of age, had seen the demons kill the others once the crowd began to get bored of them, often times in the middle of a showing.
One in particular was beginning to fear for his life, his name was Jonathan Chyrche and he was the oldest in the group. Jonathan had reached the age of 23 last month, and the crowds seemed tired of him finally. He was a hunchback and had been stolen into the show as a child at the age of 6.
His scraggly blond hair was cropped short recently and his brown eyes were nearly emotionless now, having learned not to be bothered with the cruelty he saw around him daily. He was dressed in only a pair of brown pants that were far too wide and not nearly long enough.
He lifted his head as he heard approaching footsteps, but the demon walked past his cage and went into the neighboring one, one containing a child of only 3. Jonathan turned his head away but still heard the child's frightened and pained screams. After a few minutes of this, he heard the footsteps again and he dared looking back into the neighboring cage.
There lay the bloody beaten child, now dead. He sighed heavily, far too many times had he seen dead children, far too many times heard their screams. He only wondered if he was next.
