Children of Aliadore was named after the greatest tribal leader who ever lived, Aliadore, whom united six different tribes at once. Unfortunately the tribes fell apart almost immediately after his death.
Children of Aliadore is a very large non-tropical forest. It contains many herbs that are totally unique to it, partly due to the rare animals that live there, and the Anja themselves. The forest is approximately the size of The Beauty, but due to the trees that make a forest there is very little actual space within the forest. The forest can be divided into three parts; Northern, Western and Southern. The Eastern parts of the forest are generally either unclaimed or disputed.
Northern Anja tribes associate themselves with Duke Stronghelm, it is also home of the largest and by far most incredible Anja town, Windbreaker Village. It is home to both a bridge and a windmill.
Western Anja tribes associate themselves with their fellow Northern Anja tribes, but not Duke Stronghelm. Their constant exposure to human assault from Shrenk’s armies has destroyed their trust for the humans.
Southern Anja tribes associate themselves with nobody; they are highly xenophobic and liable to attack any intruders. This kind of behaviour was likely brought about by the first human expeditions into the southern forest, and the fact they were not one of the six tribes united by Aliadore. Southern tribes are the most violent.
The forest itself is the exclusive home of the Laruxan, which protects the forest against lightning strikes and preys on fish found in the various lakes. The lakes are formed by an unlocated underwater system of rivers that emerge in various locations to form springs or lakes. These rivers also form the rivers both Deity’s Grip and The Beauty’s capitol city were based upon.
Tribes tend to be scattered haphazardly around the forest, with Anja roaming wherever they may.
Also in the Southern region of the forest are the beginnings of several Troglodyte hives, they are thought to have tunnelled there, but they more likely merely walked there and began tunnelling upon reaching the forest. These hives are an extreme threat to the Anja due to the Troglodyte’s common and rather foul source of income: Anja pelt.
