The Caverns of Wisdom are a sprawling mass of mountains with many, many areas of caves and tunnels leading into the stone. The land is here has very little greenery, with only rough wildgrasses managing to survive. These Caves are home to the multitude of dragons that live here.
The cave systems can be divided into 5 major regions. One system in the center with the four other regions spread to the four compass points.
Central Area: Cavern of the Silverclaw
Northern Area: Cavern of the Ambertail
Eastern Area: Cavern of the Flamescowl
Southern Area: Cavern of the Brazentooth
Western Area: Cavern of the Lightwing
The Caves here are all similar, apart from the rougher, less frequented passage-ways and caverns. They consist of a maze of wide tunnels and lofty open spaces. These large, more rounded cave areas are used as homes and sleeping areas by the Dragons. The largest of the open areas is always reserved as the nursery. Eggs are laid here and responsibility of their care is shared.
The mountains are made of dense pale grey rock, it is unknown why they are so porous with the caves, but it serves the Dragon's uses well and so they don't question it.
The more travelled caves of the dragons have been cleared of obsticles such as rocks, stalagtites and stalamites. The floors in these have also been worn smooth as marble; not by time, but the passage of many, many dragon feet.
