The Infinate Mountains is an aptly named region in Archidet. Sitting to the North of Nerek'Thaler it seems to go on endlessly to any that would dare tresspass into it's inhospitable lands.
It consists of steep jagged cliffs and deep gullies that disappear into darkness. Even when the Elves resided in Nerek'Thaler they rarely ventured into this unwelcoming land. To the very West of the Infinate Mountains there are Grinnins living, but even these are unable to hunt and feed in the mountains.
The mountains to the East are home to the Harpies. These mountains were once the hunting ground for dragons as they fed on the over-populating mountain beasts (similar to Yaks) that somehow forged their existance on the peaks. The number of these animals has long since dropped to below the needs of the Dragons and so visiting Dragons will regularly feed on the Harpies themselves.
Other animals living in the mountains include weasels and mountain hares.
