Electromancy (or electrokinesis) is the manipulation of electricity with the mind. Electromancy is not the most difficult, but it is the most energy demanding. Even low level electromancy requires an extremely large amount of energy, the only thing known to be able to perform electromancy without significantly harming itself is the Laruxan, but just how it does so is completely unknown.
An electromancer does not exist, the power has only one or two applications and both require incredible amounts of power to be of any use. The only positive side to electromancy is that it can be used to revive recently deceased, but that is at the cost of the caster’s life.
Electromancers cannot catch lightning. Only the phenomenal Laruxan can control lightning, nothing else has the concentration skills to control such a phenomenal amount of energy at once.
Electromancy has two possible uses – To kill and to revive. Unfortunately, both implementations of the ability require more power than the average being can control at once, or even have access to. The Dark Lord Razgriz himself can’t perform electromancy as the amount of energy required is virtually inaccessible.
The offensive ability of electromancy is to directly shock the enemy, either with a large bolt of lightning or with a shock delivered straight from the caster’s body (which results in the caster’s death). Electromancy can also be used to resurrect the recently deceased, though it is unknown how to the inhabitants, it involves defibrillation via an electric shock to the heart.
All recorded events of defibrillation have killed the caster, sometimes without even reviving the subject, and the one person who managed to revive on the first attempt and therefore retain his life only lived for a few days afterwards in paralysis.
